Nice tyre - I orderered 5 of these (Hankook Dynapro RT03s) in size 235 70 16 from Camskill for my D1 13 weeks ago. At the time I was told they were on back order but that they should be available within 8 weeks. Waited the 8 weeks and called to be told that it would be another 6 weeks. Rang after 6 weeks and was told (by Camskill) that Hankook had discontinued the RT03 Clubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. Why don't you get the 225/75x16 RT03, this is listed still.

Hi Andy. Camskill didn't offer them as a suitable alternative so not sure if they actually have any stock - they basically just told me that the RT03 had now been discontinued. I've ended up with Insa Turbo DakarsClubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. The 225/75x16 is all but the same rolling diamater, and work well, the RT03 is made and still listed on my price lists, not a bad tyre, the Insa turbo Dakar is not bad either.
Don't forget the Series 1 Disco were supplied on 205x16 and 235/70x16, so 225/75x16 drop in the middle.

The Dakars will replace a set of Colway All Terrains that have done 30K and been on the D1 for about 3 years. The side walls have recently started to show a bit of damage from laning and I had a sidewall blow out recently on the A12 on a front tyre so decided it was time for a complete change. Having said that, there's still probably about 10mm of even tread on the tyres.Clubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. One thing with remoulds is you never know how the casing has been treated befor it was remoulded, we have seen remoulds with screws and nails left in them then remoulded, not a lover of remoulds and the price is in some sizes more than a new tyre.

Agreed - hence the Hankook RT03 being my 1st choice after a lot of research. Insa Turbos do have a reputation for quality I findClubs Mantec, Tasmods, LEDS, AT2s on 18s, Maxxis Bighorns on 17s, Remote FBH, BAS. ReMap, BSS., RLD Personalised SWP., Safari Snorkel, Faultmate, Three Musketeers & MUD
