Seat Surgeons
I wanted to get my car seats re-trimmed in leather so got a few quotes from some companies and ended up speaking to Paul Hewitt, the managing director of Seat Surgeons. We talked through the options and prices and ended up setting a date for my car to be re-trimmed at his workshop just outside York, a 430 mile round trip.
Arrived at Seat Surgeons at 0815 and by 0845 the car was in the workshop and Paul was giving the family and I a quick tour of York. He dropped us off to spend some time at the National Railway Museum (which is very good by the way). At 1330 I rang Paul. His team were just finishing off and he came to pick us up.
At 1430 we were on our way home.
If you are thinking of a re-trim, full interior or just the seats, have a chat with Paul.

Ditto that, I used them and they were brilliant. They have the D3 covers made in advance so just swap them out, very good quality.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Most definately not my opinion!!!
I had a horrendous experience with them [not with Paul though].
Unfortunately won't be setting foot in his place again!...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

collected mine from SS's yesterday - well pleased with results and they were amazingly quick. Paul seems a top man and ferried me to York in a ridicolously fast RS Audi thing.
They had a stripped out brand new RRS HSE for leather upgrade - inside was reduced to bare shell, wiring looms and dashboard support. Pretty stunning.
