Hey all
This is my first post and unfortunatley not a good one.
I get TRANSMISSION FAULT occasionally appear on the dash display and i cant seem to find a problem with it as it drives in reverse, drive, sport and command shift ok. The only difference ive found is that the revs dont drop when taken from sport into drive and that the MPG is showing an average between 16-18.
Should i get diagnostics on it ASAP or would it be ok to keep driving? I do have a 4hr drive sunday with it so dont really want it breaking down on me. Also before i forget how much better will it go if the EGR`s were blanked off and it being remapped?
Many thanks
Wil

Welcome
I wouldn't worry - mine has done that for a long while - site guru TFC reckons it something on the switch into the autobox (I think) and nothing to worry about - and he is a man to be trusted
Debate on EGR blank or not to blank - I think current view is not to - has little effect on performance I understand
Re-Map - if you have a spare couple of days - read the threads - but apparently when done correctly (TFC again) - is remarkable
