blown bulb caused parking brake warning message??
Hi All. I've recently had a head lamp bulb blow (not xenon) and when I replaced it today and switched the engine and lights on for the first time afterwards I got a parking brake warning message on the display and both yellow and red brake warning lights on the dash. Used the PB and it disengaged fine and engaged fine at the end of my journey and no further messages. Could this be related somehow to the electronics picking up a faulty bulb being replaced...
Or, should I start to worry about the EPB packing up?MY11 Disco 4 SDV6 HSE

Any clunking or squealing when engaging/disengaging? I'm not an expert on the intricacies of canbus, but I'm struggling to see a bulb failure causing that particular error.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Hi. No noises or issues with EPB at all. It was a little noisy about 4000 miles ago but dealer cleaned and adjusted and it has been fine since. I've only had a similar warning message once before - and that coincided with a sidelight bulb going, which is what made me wonder this time.
I have upgraded the dipped beams with Philips Extreme power bulbs but they are still 55w 12v and OEM spec so can't see that would cause an issue.
I think I'll just have to keep an ear out for the EPB and put it down as one of the endearing quirks of LR ownership!MY11 Disco 4 SDV6 HSE
