19" HSE wheel part numbers
There appears to be 2 different part numbers for the 19" HSE wheel.
RRC002900MNH
or
RRC002900XXX
Does anyone know the reason why?
Thanks,
John

D3 HSE came with one type of wheels (6 fat spoke) right up to MY09 and then for MY09 there was a second type with slots in the spokes (see DG's gallery) - this could be why...Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
there is no real difference in the part numbers quoted, well sort of, difficult to explain
the first part RRC002900 is the wheel design
19" 6 fat spoke
The MNH part refers to the "Silver Sparkle" finish
the shadow chrome 19" wheels had MNL definition and black are something else i cannot remember
i suspect the RRC002900XXX is the number marked on the wheel itself which is the manufacture/mould number for the wheel the XXX is because the wheel will then have it's finish applied afterwards and the XXX will be changed to the corisponding finish designation like MNH

Nick,
Thanks for this. That all makes total sense. After more looking at wheels (what an anorak!) I notice that they all have the 'XXX' cast into the back of them but the 'MNH' is on the part number on the box they come in - signifying the finish.
I am now knowledgeable in the way of LR wheel part numbering!
