Can anyone advise on the best luggage box and roof bar kit for my D4 please?

I have a Thule 780 which is spot on but I wish I'd gone for the 900. I like the "claw" system which makes putting it on an taking it off a two minute job with no spanner or messing about. Club Exped trailer

My experience is from ski boxes on "normal" cars.
There are 2 types of material generally available, plastic and fibreglass.
The plastic types are cheaper and slighty lighter and the fibreglass are stronger.
We chose the plastic type, du to cost, overhere there was a several hundred pound difference.
Most poeple who buy the fibreglass types get them painted in the cars colour.
The only major disadvantage we have had with the plastic type is the UV damage, it looked ok the first 3 years, but now it is 4 1/2 years old the UV has faded the top, and it doesn't look too good, its fully functional.
The fibre glass type are more rigid and don't flex that much compared to the plastic types.
So conclusion, plastic cheap and light expect som cosmetic fadeing, fibreglass more rigid, paintable and more expensive.
