Is anyone able to help get 4 x 19" wheels and tyres from quantumjohn to Cornwall?
Edit: From Bexleyheath, near J1a of the M25 to anywhere in Cornwall or possibly Devon (or maybe anywhere south of Bristol). Need collecting from quantumjohn before 1st December.

My son currently commutes from Portsmouth down to Redruth every Friday. I might be able to arrange for him to help but you'd have to get the wheels down to him as there is no way he'd want to drive up to London first.
One drawback though - he's driving a Corsa and I'm not sure if there would be room for 4 huge Disco wheels and tyres plus his luggage plus him Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

If it makes any difference, the wheels and tyres are clean. They have recently been washed inside and out so no mud or brake dust.
I am happy to drop the wheels and tyres off at a convienent location e.g. clackett lane or Thurrock services on the M25.

i'll be driving back from gatwick on 29th... only problem is space, i need to load the car in the am see how much room i've got..
will let you know in the morning, SHOULD be ok,,,
if someone could get the wheels anywhere that side of the M25 it's be great, land at 3.15pm, clear by 4ish...would help with the 5 hour drive to not go the opposite direction..one wife.......livid
Sounds like a possible, Ady. What is your route out of Gatwick?
Next SE meet is Tuesday, 24th November at The Fairmile, Cobham, Surrey. KT11 1BW. Perhaps a friendly member or two could relay them part-way via that meet and you could collect further down? Just a thought...
Another alternative is my sister's house at Pitton, Salisbury, SP5 1DL.

Roger,
As mentioned in the pm I am willing to take the wheels and tyres to Gatwick on 29th for Ady to transport - if he can.

Ady has a full car at Gatwick but is dropping 2 off in Godalming, so will only have room after that. NeilD's plan is best, I think, so is there any chance anyone can get them from Quantumjohn to NeilD at the SE Meeting?
Cheers chaps

Roger,
I have been encouraged by some other members to attend the SE meet, as I haven't been before, so this seems like an ideal opportunity to kill 2 birds.
I'll take them to the SE meet on Tuesday as long as the payment has cleared.
Neil,
You ok to take them from me?

Payment should have cleared already It's left my bank, anyhow
Neil - Yes he is. I can get a message to him, though.
Thanks guys
I'll just confirm with Ady before I change the thread title.

If you did a CHAPS transfer the funds clear same day. This is the transfer type used for house payments etc. where time is critical. Banks usually make a charge for using this service, normally £25.
Most low amount/non time critical transfers are done via BACS which take 3 working days. There is normally no fee for this from high street banks.
I am expecting to see the funds in my account tomorrow (assuming you did a BACS tranfer) so all should be well
