Parking A D3 in a Hercules - it's possible - Video Now Added |
|
On Saturday the ITV show 'Ultimate Force' hasd an amusing scene where the commanding officer drove up to and then into a Hercules in his seemingly black D3 with Xenons.
Pretty cool 8) but no evidence of them lashing it down - must be very happy with the reliability of the electronic parking brake! 2008.5 D3 HSE, Stornoway, Ebony
2007 BMW 335iSE - lust for speed satisfied

Well, I've personnally parked (And lashed down...) a 130 in a C160 Transall...
The D3 should be easy... After all, it is lower, shorter and, probably, not as wide a 130...
But I would lash it down tight ! The risk is not only of the vehicle moving back or forward, but also up and down...

It was a blinged up HSE, and to my prejudiced eyes seemed to be a case of 'multitasking lipstick application whilst driving' or some such. It was near Rowsley Bar on the Chatsworth road. No real damage other than scratches, and the road itself wasn't a fast section. Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

Was the in-car shot taken just before it enters? Could be the auto lights? Discovery 3 - TDV6 SE - Bonnati Grey
