FBH operating and alarm going off
Had the vehicle for a few days now and absolutely impressed... excellent motor
Have had one re-occurring issue and not sure if I'm doing something wrong or the vehicle has a fault....?
I have the factory fit FBH... if the vehicle is double locked (interior protection activated) and the heater fans cut in as they should when the FBH warms up, the alarm goes off. Bit of a problem at 05.00 in the morning I can maybe understand why; as the air movement in the car changes due to the fans cutting in, the ultrasonic sensors probably detect this or maybe the alarm detects a larger voltage drop, but can't understand why these alarm points are not deactivated whilst the FBH is operating.
Has anyone else had this, should the interior detectors or voltage drop sensor deactivate when the FBH is operating, or should I just single lock the vehicle before operating the FBH? (and if this is the case, it seems a bit strange to me- part unlock the car to do a preheat!!?... sort of defeats the object of 'remote' parking heater)
I've tried to redirect the heater vents, but this makes no difference
Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated...?

Double locking (dibbing twice within 2 seconds) deactivates interior protection.
Also never hear of the FBH operating the fans in the car.
EDIT just noticed this is a D4, ignore my ramblings!!!

My FHB works fine
My alarm doesn't go off & I lock mine normally and walk away
I had issues when I first got it but after a good ovenight charge of the battery everything has been fine ever sinceWot's that in Old Money

I've done that with an FFRR and my D3
Give your dealer loads to do to it (extras) before they deliver it, add in a comprehensive PDI and the battery will take a bashing. Think about how long it's kept awake. Then I want it the next day.

To clarify:-
Pushing the lock button once on a D3 double locks/deadlocks doors and activates perimetric protection.
Pushing the lock button twice on a D3 single locks doors and gives no perimetric protection.
Pushing the lock button once on a D4 single locks doors and gives no perimetric protection.
Pushing the lock button twice on a D4 double locks/deadlocks doors and activates perimetric protection.
Its the other way round for added confusion.

Is that what the 2-stage locking function is? As enabled on the control options?
Also, can you set the rear doors to open from the inside when handle used, or is it necessary to always use the unlock button first?Paul

I think the 2 stage (un)locking function is the one where, if activated, only the drivers door and fuel filler are unlocked with the first press of the unlock button. A second press unlocks the other doors. It may prevent others entering the car or reaching in to take something uninvited
