Use of Bluetooth Phonebook
Having problems using the downloaded phonebook on non-touchscreen phone. When accessing phonebook is there any method of moving through the numbers without going through each on individually? At the moment I am having to move down all contacts to access a number at the higher end of the alphabet!!
Thanks
Lee

You can push the keypad numbers on the stereo .. Pressing M would bring up all numbers beginning with M etc etc...
press the key ( number 6 ) twice for N .. or 3 times for O... and so onG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks Wiggs. Forgive my ignorance but how do you know which key to press? Are the keys the same as mobile phone texting? Lee
Wow! I've seen double posts before, but five of them............. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Update...
Spoke to LRCS. They are adamant that the phone should work as Wiggs described earlier, however, my phone is not on the 'approved list'. The phone seems to be working correctly in all other areas and functions. Does anyone have an approved phone that is working fine when navigating the phonebook with the keypad? Thanks Lee

Simon,
I have looked on the LR website and Nokia 6310 not listed. However I think you will be OK. I have a colleague at work with one and it is fine in the Disco 3. Lee
