| Are PM's deleted when not picked up? |

Hi all,
I know the drill concerning PMs in outbox. Now for a different question:
I've had a message in my outbox for a couple of weeks (I think since december 31th). It is gone now but is NOT appearing in the sentbox. It has just vanished.
So here's my question: are PMs which are not picked up deleted after a certain period?
