Locking wheel nut Rounded how do i get it off !!!!!!
Come to Change front tyre this morning and my locking wheel nut is just spinning think some bright spark on the last sevice must have put it on with an air gun and rounded it, how the h**ll do you get it off without either trashing the wheel or dismantling the front suspension HELP.MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

I managed to get someone to weld a bolt onto it and then I turfed all my locknuts

Your nearest tyre place should be able to get it off, they usually have special tools to do it. Or take it back to who last serviced the car & get them to sort it!Bodsys Brake Bible

you can get a nut remover, which has a sort of helical thread inside it that bites into the rounded wheel nut. Try a local tyre place, as you can drive home with 4 out of the 5 nuts in OK.

In the past I've done similar to MacLeod - got a an old socket that was slightly to small and whacked it on to the nut.

You could remove the other 4 nuts and driver around in a circle until the other one comes loose

Tried All ideas mentioned to no avail resorted to oxy acet and burned outer riing off, and then threw all existing lock nuts int he s-----g bin and i will never use them again LESSON LEARNED AND ABSORBED, and if i were you i would do the same MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎
