Like the Waeco ones. Anyone done it with cloth seats, are they any good?

Another that I've done Laughing

Although I did it with the LR OEM bits and it all works through the original switchs in the HVAC unit.

I've used the Waeco ones on our previous DI 300Tdi and they were great and very simple to install. If I had to do it again on a D3, I'd go for a HVAC unit without heated seat switchs and fit the Waeco ones - alot simpler and cheaper!

Embarassed I should have said, I did need TFC's (10forcash) help to get them to work properly - LR left out one vital connection and it took TFC to spot Bow down

Sorry to hijack but...

Matt
Do you happen to have a pic of the footwell panel showing which are the connectors in from the seats and which are the out to the switch unit?
Trying to figure it out for a seat with elements I've just fitted. cant find a connector behind the hvac unit so want to chase it from the footwell back if possible.

cheers Thumbs Up

Shocked Not another one Thud

Sorry, just went through this, with one of our Italian Disco3 members earlier this year, lets just say the language difference made it an interesting discussion, or set of discussions Laughing

Yes I have - there are connectors in the outer side panel of both front foot wells.

I've several pictures, but I need to find them again after having a bit of a re-org Embarassed - PM me with an e-mail address and I'll send them to you later Thumbs Up

Found 'em and as they aren't as big as I thought here you go:

This is the drivers footwell showing the connectors:

These are the 2 connectors you'll have to add extra connectors to i.e. the cables that come from the HVAV plug:

anyone tried these in the back seats? Kids might yet forgive me for the interior trim if they have toasty bottoms...

Rather old thread, but for what it's worth the dealers from whom I purchased my D3 arranged for heated front seats to be fitted by Total Car Solutions.

They did an excellent job, I don't know the price as it was included in the deal.

For further information call Paul on 07971 000 696
