Lookers Park Royal
Just ordered my new D4 from Lookers after all the recommendations they get on this site.
James and Matt do go the extra mile and inspire faith and confidence with their excellent product knowledge and friendly no nonsense approach. Well done to them. If the rest of the sale goes as well I will be delighted.
Just got to wait till March now
Also contacted Yeovil again due to the good feedback on here. They also responded very well to my enquiries. but Park Royal is a lot closer to me.

Steve,
Many thanks for your business and it was a good to meet you both last week. Matt and I will certainly make sure that everything goes smoothly.
With regards to the service dept, apologies if anyone has not had the level of service that they should expect. We will never claim to get it right 100% of the time, however it is important to learn from any mistakes. grzesiul, if you would like to PM or email me with your details and an explanation of how we let you down then I will certainly make sure that it is investigated.
........ poor service is certainly not a regular thing!
If anything is untoward then please let me know as my office is next door to that of the Service Manager, Andrew Shilley! Lisa Wilsher looks after the majority of our forum members, and is highly praised on many of the forums that we sponsor. When in doubt ask for Lisa!
Steve, thanks again and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Regards,
James

grzesiul,
I've just worked it out (regarding who you are)...... Yes, we did let you down in a most unusual way and one which I have only heard once of in the last 10 years with LR. I understand that it is being resolved at the moment.
I agree, you have had a nightmare, however it is certainly not typical of us.

How I wish all the LR Dealerships would study this forum as James at Looker's does.
Life would be so much simpler.

I'm glad it's all been sorted out, and I understand you were in the other day (possibly yesterday). I have emailed Andrew to ask him to update you regarding the statement you mention.
Thanks for confirming that you are who I thought you were!

You see.
This is what impresses me.
From all the posts I have seen regarding this dealer,(and there are plenty more on the RRS site) whenever someone mentions a problem James immmediately puts his head above the parapet AND DEALS WITH IT _ QUICK. Even if the problem is not with his dept. Even if they have cocked up, he puts his hand up, apologises and does his best to make it right.
If only all dealers were like this.

should only James be a member of service dept i guess all would have gone differently but it has not so perhaps we should all suggest him to be promoted to other position with some influence to make things go right at park Royal
and besides he has not solve anything although I appreciate his response (each one of them) as other people do not seem to be interested in any sort of information flow...
