After the fault that i had and called LR assist out on Sat i contacted my local dealer on the Sat afternoon and gave them my details as the service dept don't work Sat afternoon.
True to their word at 0830 on Mon morning i recieved a phone call from them as promised and at the right time , (had explained on sat that i am on nights this week and would be home at that time and still awake). They arranged to pick up my car on Tues morning as they needed to order the EGR valves in and also being a Monday they were choka with work. Tues morning the dealers tipped up at my house and collected the car asked what time would be good for them to ring me with an update as they didn't want to wake me up. At the promised time they rang me with an update and informed me the car wouldn't be finished until today weds. They didn't have a courtesy car avail but asked if i would be ok for getting to work and back i explained that getting to work would be ok but getting home this morning might be a problem as i didn't know what time i would be back in and the swmbo needed her car for work. The dealers said if it was after 0800 and i was stuck ring them and they will pick me up and take me home.
Well the car has just been delivered back to the house, they were going to post the keys with note asking me to ring. They said that they didn't ring as not to disturb me. Unluckily the dog had heard my car pull up in the drive and went mental waking me. When i rang dealer they explained that the egr had been replaced and also the safety recall work completed as required. They even washed it down which is pretty good considering the weather.
BIG to lloyds as i cannot fault their service and response, total customer satisfaction and very pleased with the way they went out of theirs to accomodate my needs. POT NOODLE NAVIGATION CHALLENGE 2010 WINNER
