at least one example where someone has mounted non LR lights on an A bar (Hella in this case-but many have LF too). The best mount for UHF ect is on the radiator support panel and then some bends through the grille, there are some blank holes that can be taped to make a thread, there is a post with photos a while back otherwise will post photos on weekend
