Anyone else had an invitation to one of these?
Am going to Elvington (old airfield near York) towards the end of Feb for a Land Rover organised event. Supposed to be some sort of world-wide simluation. Am taking the lovely Helen to this. It is supposed to involve simulated autobahn, sand and snow driving I think - a different mix from the LR Experience.
Speaking of which, my new (to me) car wasn't valeted by the dealer before delivery last Friday so they've given me an experience voucher. So I get to go to the Skipton experience (did Castle Eastnor last year).
Hope the above don't make me too sorry I couldn't get a D4!

Done an experience event. Good fun if you're not a hardened off-roader. The side-slopes are the scary ones. Kept getting told off as I'd try and drive the trial course like I was being timed
The other one sounds interesting. Helen just loves this sort of thing, doesn't she! Lovely girl. Andrew

I was telephoned by Land Rover out of the blue - presumably due to me having requested information in the past but not having bought a new car. The LR salesman knew nothing about it - but wants me to let him know what it was like as he thinks it would be great to get people to buy cars
I did an experience at Castle Eastnor last June I think it was so I have some idea of what it's like - this one will be at Skipton

Are you in the market for another already, though? Maybe they think they've got all they're going to get! Request a brochure for a FFRR Andrew
