A-frame (external) trim removal

Been having wind noise ever since I bought the car, at 70+mph, never bothered too much to notice but now I can actually feel the cold air coming in at 85+mph Shocked (drivers side, lower end of the windscreen)

Never had any water leaks whatsoever, so I thought of checking the outer trim and windscreen sealant all around.

Found some posts dating back to 2007 with no instructions, has anyone since got the GTR details on how to remove the outer trim as one would to fit the RAI?

Cheers Thumbs Up

Cheers MrH Thumbs Up

I guess I should have said, I already have the RAI instructions, the real question is on picture 15 which just shows the black trim being pulled out... Confused In fact, so it does for the air intake, is it just as simple as that? Pull hard?

Yep just pull hard, Might have to replace some clips after if they break. (think there about 80p or close to that) I've had mine off a few times now but always clips back in fine Thumbs Up

Has anyone else had wind noise coming in from that spot? Am I looking at the right suspects?

Does anyone remember if the part number for the clips is DZM000070 (stamped on the plastic bag they come in)?

Managed to get hold of 4 of them but the parts guy was not sure they are the correct ones Rolling Eyes
