Ride Height Sensor - Service Action

Guys

just had this issued friday

Only a small chassis number run

Disco3
LA461580 - LA513324

RRS
LS144333 - LS215577

If you fall in this bracket then your dealer (Like the fuel pumps and vac pipes) should contact you direct or receive a letter from LR advising to contact dealer

Please don;t all rush out to call your dealers, as it's just released I'm sure most will not even be aware of it's existence yet

Oh great... Rolling Eyes Another one for me...

Maybe they can do this one when they finally get round to doing the fuel pump and vac pipes... Rolling Eyes

Hmmm, got a sneaky feeling mine may be in that VIN range. Sad

Frapp - never be too excited about missing the VIN range...IIRC there have been a couple of forum members that have had oil ingress in the brake vacuum pump but their VIN is not part of the recall. So they will probably have to pay.

Neutral As I thought, mine's smack bang in the middle of that range.

Would explain why there have been a number of ride height sensors failing recently with all the salt on the roads.

I popped in to my local dealer today, Lancaster LandRover in Welwyn Garden City (formerly Pilling), to pick up a head rest insert thats broken and they took all my details and informed me that I need to bring my vehicle in for a check as it would appear I have a "Q97 ride height sensor recall".

Im led to believe they can do whatever needs doing in an hour, but can anyone tell me what will actually be done?

ATB, Jon.
