F&R screen heaters auto-on when it's cold? |
|
The front and rear screen heaters are coming on every time I start the engine this week - but then the snowflake symbol has been lit on the dash every time too, so I'm assuming this is by design.
Anyone else noticed the same behaviour? Note that it's just the heaters, without the full power to the fans you get from the "clear windscreen" button
If it is by design, shame it doesn't fire up the heated seats too

Yep... mine does the same, but would prefer if it didn't..... apparently this is an automatic feature when temperature drops below certain point.

Yep. Mine does it too.
There are a few 'convenience features' on this car that I would like to disable.
Like the drivers seat moving right back when you turn off the engine. When it does that it is too far back to allow the seat behind to fold flat. Annoying! Back in the game!

Another annoying feature is the heated seats, which don't automatically reduce the heat setting as they warm up. My last car (Merc) did that - much better. Paul
