Hi Chap
I have not had this problem with mine but from little reading I have done I learned on the early ones there was an issue with the steering rack rubbing the airbag wires somewhere in the dash. Land rover recalled most vehicles to have a modified rack put in. Has your vehicles been recalled for this? Info will be on your warrenty report Thumbs Up

Q045 is modification to the steering coloum to prevent some sort of wires breaking, think its for the wires behind the airbag the work the cruise control and radio buttons.

There are also some wires under the seat that can get damaged in some cases from sliding the seat back and forth.

If it is the steering coloum, its a recall they must put it right at there expense. I am trying to find the web site with the gen on it but it does not seem to be working, I will keep trying. Thumbs Up
