D4 ride heights down cf D3?

I saw a post here recently (but cannot find it now) and IIRC the D3 normal height hub centre-to-guard is more than my D4's 470mm front and rear. Also, my off-road height is 45mm higher rather than the D3's published 55mm. The engine was running, all doors were closed and allowed to stabilise for a minute or so.

Has LR lowered and reduced the off-road height in the D4 compared with the D3?

Maybe they've set it to RRS height?

The published D3 height is not accurate in reality. It is more like the 45mm but varies slightly from vehicle to vehicle.

Ah, so maybe LR hasn't come up with new parameters, just stole something else from their sports vehicle for their all-purpose vehicle that's getting less and less all-purpose. Oh well, at least I can fix the ride height deficiency.

Edit. I may have posted too soon...

RRS was same as D3 - just the lower profile tyres that made it seem lower.

GrameS - see if you can get your dealer (or someone with Autologic etc) to raise all height settings by changing the calibration levels.

Thanks CaverD3 & Jonty. Mine's normal height is about to become driver selectable for the rough stuff so no need to recalibrate.
