Help! - acceleration judder

Hi guys

Ive just had the worst feeling, under fairly hard acceleration my disco starts to judder, back off and it's fine.

Any ideas?

Also if happens again check to see if wheel is hot (check carefully) as you get that with seized on brake caliper.

Its only just had a box oil change at 85k, well at least the garage i took it to said so. I did find that the MPG increased upto about 24.6 avg but after but recently its down to 21 at best so im hoping thats linked with the brakes and not my heavy foot Laughing i shall find out on the weekend hopefully

Just checked the wheels for bearing wear and have only noticed that they there is lateral movement in both front wheels Shocked . I checked the ball end joints on the wheel side and didnt notice any "play", havent had time to check the inner ones though!

Any ideas and is it costly?

Had the same problem. Changed the gear oil, now like a new car! Best money I ever spent. See my thread above for the cheapest solution. Still have enough oil left actually for a double flush and refil if anyone interested.
