Pre-Warranty Expiry Check - Northern/Wetern Sydney |
|
Hi,
My D3 will be out of warranty next month, and was hoping someone had some experience either with Davis, or another place on the northern (I am near Hornsby), or western (out to Paramatta) side and completing a final inspection before the last service under warranty.
Cheers,

Had mine done with 60k service at Trivett, Parramatta. Most impressed. They found stuff I didn't know about. Just awaiting parts for final fix. Watch this space. MY07 D3, TDV6S; Bull Bar, Cooper S/T's, Dual Battery, UHF, GPS; 03 D2, 94 D1, both departed & 1950 S1 80" going strong. 06 Astra CDX Coupe.

Thanks for that.
Lets see how I go with Cremorne Prestige...
Then it's over to Trivett in Paramatta, which I also have had good experience with...
I just will feel a little more comfortable with an outside LRA opinion.
The TDV6 has a bit of a vibration at certain loads and revs, which is a small concern.

I wouldn't be too worried about Trivetts doing the job. I think they make more money out of doing Landrover work getting paid by L/rover, than say, selling vehicles. Check the thread on my 100k service on this site. I think that they do a very good job. They will be doing the work on my Defender when it arrives in a few days 8), even though I bought it interstate.
P.S. (I'm not mean't to be here, I said goodbye to all when I sold my D3).
I just can't keep away.... 2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)

Hi PBob,
It's like a disease that you don't want to have treated.
Best Wishes,
