Big up for Frank Ogg, Elgin!

OK, I know most of you are asking where and reaching for Gooogle maps, but.......

Just had SWMBO's car in for 60k service, brake fluid change, sorting out park brake pads and MOT, they also provided a roof over Autoglass dude's head for him to change the windcreen yesterday. As usual excellent service, good price and was able to talk through a couple of things with Mark, workshop foreman before it went in. Car gleaming like a new un!

Good job, me happy bunny and SWMBO heading home with lunch, does life get any better?? Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

What was wrong with the windscreen Derek? I had a new one put in there (by LR) a year ago! Confused

Was driving to Oggs for the MOT and thought WTF is that 6" to 8" crack in the bottom of the screen, 2 weeks before MOT due?? U must have had one of these soft southern screens fitted, not the ruffty tuffty Highland version, it couldn't stand seeing all this snow! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Would love to take your car out & abuse it, esp with its new ATR booties on! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

As long as it doesn't get stuck like before, now that would be way too embarassing! Snigger

Frank Ogg will be starting to charge me rent!!! My D3 (Dark Bluie as opposed to Bluie) has been in for an intermittant problem with the front passanger side door not unlocking. New latch fitted (I am so gonna miss Tesco Warranty Big Cry ) and she's ready to pick up prior to her trip to Keilder. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Frank Oggs are fantastic!
My car has been back to them for some recall work. Always very pleasant to deal with, loan car for the day. Disco always returned sparkling and cleaned inside as well.
Must be the best dealer in the North of Scotland.

Agreed! Quite a few peeps from N Scotland (i.e. North of Inverness) pass by Macrae & Dick Inverness to do the extra 35 miles to Elgin. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Yes and well worth the extra miles. Elgin is a lovely wee town and has the wonderful Gordon & MacPhail whisky
shop! M&D have been a big disappoint to me too in the past. Put new track rod ends on my last LR and forgot to set the tracking!!! Never went there again. Smile

Plenty owners from the Aberdeen area also make that longer journey to Elgin. One of the sales guys lives close to me so I get his Deafener for the day while he takes mine up the road. Aberdeen dealer is 25 miles away, Angus Ogg is 55 miles - still no contest tho Thumbs Up Dex
