Quick question: does anyone know how heavy approximately a RLD or LR sump guard is?
Looking at feasibility of having one shipped over but cost is weight related...
Cheers

I'm pretty sure that when JMC sent mine to me a few years ago, the weight declared was 14kg (Mantec non-winch plate).
8kg seems a little light to me, but not sure of the material that Uncle Ray's plate is made of?
Hope this helps 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Nice one there MrH , like the choice it gives...
Not sure whether they would actually do collections though, £19 seems a little on the low side

Cheers Paul, I wouldn't be able to hazard a guess but the LR instructions do show two people carrying it to the car
14kgs may be the volumetric weight, the site MrH suggested is quoting 18.7kgs volumetric weight for an 8kgs, 80*70*20cm package...
Hmmm, maybe cheaper than I thought

Yes they will collect from UK and ship to where-ever - by the way, just found my notes from where I was looking at shipping the D4 Mantec plate back to Mantec before I went to visit them and the D4 plate weighs 9.3Kg

Thanks again MrH , they seem to have two cut-offs for weight: 10kgs and 25kgs, so 10 it will be
I have estimated the size to be around 80x70x20cm (width, depth and total height). Does this sound about right?
