V8 TDI for 2007 Disco?
Evryone,
this is my first post since i joined this forum yesterday. I have been reading through all posts for a while as i am thinking of converting to D3 once I convince my other half that it is a much better car than our current lexus RX model.
However, now that Land Rover are getting a new V8 diesel engine for Range rover by this winter, I will bet alot on it just a question of time before they make it available on the D3 phasing out the current engine. After all it make sense to deploy the new technology on as much cars as possible to recoup your investment and make money?
so the question is: buy now, or wait 1 or 2 years until the new model comes...decisions, decisions!
Though I think (hope) the D3 will get the TDV8 eventually I suspect it will be as well as the TDV6 instead of. Even though it's been around for a few years now the TDV6 is hardly 'old technology' and though it's apparently going to have a few changes it'll essentially be the same engine for a good many years yetThe End

Thank you for the welcome.
I am in Kingston close to Richmond Park.
I will check the dates and keep you updated. I would love to come and learn more about the car. I didn't get the chance to check all the features at the dealership. He was busy selling one to someone else despite me having an appointment.

Easy peasy - just run straight down the A3 to last junction before the M25, signposted for Cobham - its 2 minutes from there (first left on A3 r/about, over next r/about, left at 3rd r/about - then 1/2 mile on left)Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
