D4 Brakes

Had to stop in a hurry this morning from 70ish when everyone else on the M40 decided to do so. Not tried that before... I somehow suspect the surprise I got at quite how quickly 2.5t can stop from that speed was rather more pleasant than that of the chap following perhaps a tad too close behind Shocked

Awesome vehicle Very Happy

A couple of weeks ago I also had to stop quickly, from about 60, when a dog ran onto the dual carriageway Shocked
I too thought the brakes were awesome. Just glad nobody was behind me.

Hear Hear! Only had mine a week but the one thing that really stands out are the breaks. Truely tremendous stopping power.

Other car is a Merc AMG with high performance composite discs and the D4 brakes are on a par with them.

Very reassuring.

Had to stand mine on it's nose when someone in front if me did something totally unpredictable a few months back.

The dog in the back was very impressed! Laughing

I concur!

I tried the D4 last weekend and really liked the brakes, although the 2.5t made themselves quite notable on snow and ice despite dedicated winter tires. I guess even in the Disco no friction equals no stopping. Surprised
