re-mapping 3.0tdv6

Hi I am not sure how often this has been covered but i am looking to re-map my D4. I had this mod carried out on my D3 and it made an amazing difference and was trouble free for the 2 years that i owned it. Not to say that i am not happy with the performance of the 3.0 engine but it would be good to know that a little more poke is available. Wink

More???? I think there is more than enough!! When you floor it is uncredible! A re-map for better fuel efficiency might be appreciated here though Laughing

I don't think anyone has come up with 3.0l remap.

Site sponsor Bellautos would be a good place for you to start, and Pete said this a couple of weeks ago:

Re the tuning, The D4 Bosch EDC17 ecu has a tricore processor in it that has got OBD Anti-Tuning protection tprotV6 which is very high up in the protection ladder, so i cant say when its going be available to tune diagnosticly untill we have completed a few more things.

All i can say is when it is you will know.

apparently it can be done through the new Genius, BDM and Byteshooter IF YOU HAVE THE CHECKSUM TOOL, which i dont Evil or Very Mad

byteshooter's application for breaking the password on the ecu:
