Hi Chris,
I think that it is important to remember that the discs as well as the pads are replaceable (dependent on minimum disc thickness). I have just had a trawl through the LR owner manual, but couldn't find what this thickness should be.
I have heard of many occasions where the discs required replacing at every two changes of pads.
Hopefully someone on here will supply the minimum disc thickness.
Best Wishes,
Peter The Bearded Dragon

ISTR 17 on the rear and 20 on the front (They come with 20 on the rear and 23 on the front AFAIR)
EDIT Front Disk is 27mm min thickness and rear is 17mm min thickness
Pads should be replaced when they come to 3mm thickness. Bodsys Brake Bible
