Menu settings and Terrian settings |
|
First problem encountered is trying to change clock from 24hr to 12hr setting. It works when unticked but when you switch the engine off for a while and switch it back on again, clock resets itself back to 24hr display. Had the car at dealer to re-program with no success. Anyone with a similar problem.
With my previous Disc3 when going off road the computer remembered the terrian setting selected even wnen the engine was switched off. In the Disc4 I found that the computer does not remember the terrian setting selected when the engine is switched off. One has to again select the terrian setting once the engine is switched on again, The agents tell me that is how Land Rover set the car up. Anyone with the same problem.

On the clock, I recall there is a TSB, but GTR is down for a rest this weekend.
On the terrain response, my D4 certainly remembers the terrain response setting between ignition cycles, so for you to be told that for it not to is how it is supposed to be either means they are telling you porkies, or something if wrong with mine. I am not going to complain, however.

Hi Winger, thanks for your input, I had a feeling they were giving me porkies. My Disco 4 is a S model which means I have to manually go into clock setting and either select 12 or 24hr mode.
