Very excited!
Hello Everybody!
Im afraid i have to admit to being a seriel lurker on here and never posted as i registered and then had problems logging back in
Anyway, im using my other e mail address now so hopefully I can post again!
So, I have a D4 XS Ipanema Sand with Ebony on order and am literally counting down the hours until its arrival! I have been told i will have delivery on 11th April but this is estimated. So I wanted to ask how long it takes to build one of these beauties? So if I dont hear by a certain date about its build status then I can safely assume its going to be late

EDIT sorry had to post as wife shouted dinner was ready. Doesn't take too long to make, few hours after painted bodyshell hits the T5 line. Then it is fitted out as per spec.

I think, if i recall correctly, my car actually came in one week before the official delivery date. I think the build was around 3 weeks.

Mine was built two days ahead of the scheduled build date. It was built over a few hours. It was a week later before it arrived at my dealer about twelve days ahead of the scheduled delivery date.
mine was delivered to the dealer 2 weeks early and i got it 3 days after thatbali blue disco 4 with rear dvd's, privacy glass, pre heat system, heated steering wheel, full size spare, piano black trim, ipod cable, 20 inch wheels and i love it loads more than my TDV8 RRS, KTM 250 EXC 2 Stroke for the real off road stuff
