Vredestein ultrac suv sessanta anyone? |
|
Doing a lot more motorway driving and my MTRs are a bit noisy and hammering the mpg. As the weather is improving looking for a comfortable, hardwearing summer tyre.
Any ideas or experience of the Sessanta?

Hmmm.
I've just taken a couple off my RRS (so 255/50/19's rather than the 255/55's the D3 has) with 7k miles on them. They've already worn to 5mm of tread, so I wouldn't say they were a long lived tyre. Compared to the Cross Contacts I took off the rear that had 5mm when I bought it and 7k miles later still have 4mm on them, I'd say spend a few more pennies on another tyre. I'm just about to lob all these on fleabay now that I've definitely decided to stick with the ATR's all year round, grip is excellent and after 4k miles I've not noticed any wear at all. BV55 YZE, ex G4 Challenge RRS. So not a Disco 3. Well, not quite.
