Brodit pro-clip mountings

Has anyone fitted a Brodit pro clip onto a D3 with the gloss black trim? does it mark the trim at all?

I want to mount my ipod, and my phone, with the ipod in easy reach, so was thinking about a pro-clip and brodit ipod mount on the right hand side of the H trim for the ipod, and a pro-clip and brodit for the Blackberry on the left. If anyone has done this, a picture would be appreciated.

I have already mentioned this before, but I do it again.
Instead of thinking about big ugly mounts you can use tetrax instead.

it looks like this

the mount:

small pin you stick to your iphone

it takes basically no space, holds very hard (i think it never fell from the mount in whatever conditions I was driving) and fits perfect where i have it. you easily access menu, if you want to dial numbers, you can easily use navigation on your iphone if you are fed up with lr navigation. you can easily plug a car charger, which is useful with iphones.
the pin and magnets are made of spoecial material, so it does not damage battery of your phone.
Simple, good, and nice. nothing is as good as this.

Gareth, you do know you can get a hidden bracket.
Fits in behind the H trim.
Mounts just then fit onto bracket.
No holes and no big clip strapping accross the H trim.

Can't speak for the Brodit, but the Dash Mount holder has loads of clearance from the H Trim section.

Sounds like you are looking to do exactly what I have done.

Can't see how the brackets will damage the trim but I have the standard, not piano black.

The iPod is wired in to the control box of the Rosen AV7500 Headrest DVD System. I've copied most of my 2 1/2 year old sons DVDs on to the iPod as it saves carrying around a stack of DVDs. I used the official Apple cable to avoid any incompatibility issues. I plan to eventually do something about the power cables but for the time being they are fine.

Hi Gareth

Try www.co-star.co.uk

Just bought some Dashmounts from them to fit mobiles and sat navs into a couple of cars at home....great service and good prices.

Not connect to them BTW but came recommended by Vodaphone techie transferring a hands free kit
 Club RLD spare wheel protection
Club RLD skid plate
Club its all black
Club D3 - it's gone
Club D4 - just arrived and still all black
