XS Seat Question ~ Armrests |
|
Have ony seen an HSE with Premium Leather in the flesh and that had folding front armrests.
Don't think armrests are mentioned in the D4 brochure for any variant but a small pic in a What Car Awards Test Reprint on an XS does show what I think are folded up arm rests?
Can someone tell me whether these arm rests come with Standard Leather as well as Premium?
Thanks. 2015 D4 HSE in Corris Grey
All below gone but still with happy memories
2010 D4 XS in Stornaway Grey
2006 D3 S in Zermatt Silver
2001 Td5 Oslo Blue
1993 300Tdi Arken Grey

All the photos in the What Car reprint are of a HSE, only HSE has folding armrests.

Web site shows arm rests on XS but this model does not have them, See copy of post I made last week. Still waitng on the dealer receiving the parts required to fit. Also had call back from our local trading standards office. They have passed on my complient to an office local to Land Rover for what ever action they can take for missrepresenting the car specification.
"Update on the "armrests" saga. Meet with the dealer last week and they have agreed to fit armrests. They have ordered the parts required and hopefully will get it done sometime this week. He does admit that they have never done this before and we are into new territory....!!!!! I also contacted trading standards and they have agreed to take up the case of LR misrepresenting what the basic specification should be. I had a conversation with LR customer service last Friday and was told that I should have ordered them when ordering the car.....!!!!! They obviously don’t know their own product. No option to fit armrest and no option to upgrade seat to electric and memory......!!!! Buy an HSE if you want these options....!!!
Anyway just back from Crufts and I’m pleased with the car, it drives great and certainly gave “good†economy (29mpg) much better than the old D3. Next episode due soon................!!!!! "

I thought the brochure was pretty clear arm rests come with premium leather that's the connection and not the trim level... Jean-Paul
