EGR availability
Hi,
Are the EGR's readily available or as everything else on backorder? Mine "B" one died today, and was told by the dealer that I should expect 2 weeks delivery *if* the UK supplier isnt experiencing problems

Thanx. The car is still under warranty, so I'll give em ten days, then I'll order left *and* right from UK seeing how they tend to last less than the tires
At least they've ordered me a new FBH as well.

Why not get a blanking kit and do away with the useless EGR valves altogether?

Not yet, AFAIK
EGR's dont seem that expensive in UK, and looking at the guide - changing is relatively easy, if you are out of warranty.

AFAIK, there isnt yet - if you blank them, you are going to get the MIL light. Of course I can be totally wrong.

EGR valves are on a two day order (if the dealer hasn't got any, they were the week before last anyway). I changed mine instead of blocking them off, I don't fancy the 600 sheets for a new catalyst, the reduced power and the reduction in MPG"The fate of the wounded lies in the hands of the one who applys the first dressing"
