Hello fellow Landrovers
I have a 2005 TDV6se with a Baben EcuMap
The car is ultra responsive, fast and adgile.
Consumption figures (I had it for a while and wanted to test it out properly before I posted so here goes -
Town - 12.5 - 14.5 Lt/100 km (14.5 hard driving)
Out of town - 9.5 - 10.5 Lt/100 km (120 km/h)
The only problem is that you have to be very very careful on brakes and handling. You easily forget that you are driving a 2.7 ton (or whatever the weight is) vehicle.
Thanks Baben, Money well spent.

Pretty much matches my 2006 TDV6S vehicle's consumption with the TT remap.
On trip down to Sodwana last week averaged 9.6l/100km at varying speeds. Total trip consumption was 10.6 l/100km - drove back a bit more briskly.
Average around town approx 12.6 l/100km. D3 TDV6 S - Silver

FrontRunner Roof Rack
National Luna Dual Charging System
Big Country Rear Wheel Carrier
Big Country Drawer System
BFG AT's

Nope agree with all of the above. Remember to get an airfilter from Anthony while you're about it

Hi Guys,
Took the Disco to durbs this weekend and I managed to get 7.5 lt/100 km. (flat road)
I know no one will believe me, so if someone tells me how to upload a picture, I will post it here. (I have been trying with no luck)

If you are basing that figure on the on board consumption , then don't beleive it either . It will probably be out by about by as much as 10 %

I can do that if I zero the consumption meter and coast down the hill
even if it's 30% out it is still bloody good.
Did you let SWAMBO drive and forget to adjust the seat forward

You are so right, just returned from a trip from JHB to DBN, onboard said 8.8l/100km, actual 10.1.
From JHB to Tzaneen and then Alldays, onboard at 7.8 (driving behind a defender at 100km/h), actual 9.5 2007 TDV6 SE auto (ex Write off)
2013 D4 SDV6 SE auto

there you guys go reigning on my happy moment.
That now makes alot of sense as the fuel did'nt really last that long. I only got 750km of the tank when the system showed 850km

please tell me more about the "air filter from Anthony" as I am looking to up the power/torque/sound on the Disco3 V8 just a tiny little. thought about a K&N filter but our brothers on the international site and 4x4 community forum seems to be dead against it - any suggestions

Don't bother with the filter on a V8 - it was great on the diesel but I saw no difference on the V8
