You also need to touch the 2 cables together IIRC

According to LRA, disconnecting the battery does nothing whatsoever.
Faults remain in the memory for 30 starts/stops assuming they don't reoccur.
Went thru all this with an ex-REME now LRA guy who helped me out a few months ago. He said the battery thing is a commonly misunderstood issue.
But since the thing is a LR, no doubt there are other answers..... PAGODA
