Rear passenger door locked shut |
|
Hi all
Like many before me it seems, my rear passenger door is locked shut. I've tried all the combinations of pulling the handle, various unlock buttons etc so I assume it's a new door lock. Is it possible to get the trim off with the door shut, and more importantly without damaging it? If so, are there any guides on the forum as to how to do it - I have had a look and can't track one down but I'm sure one will be here somewhere!!Having had the tailgate done a few months back I'd like to try and keep the cost down if I can.
On a similar topic, the drivers door is starting to get lazy about opening when i stop. I usually have to pull the handle twice before it unlocks. Is this an indication of impending doom or is there something I can do now that will stop me having to remove that trim as well!!
Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers

Mine too is/was doing this...I tried the dash unlock whilst pulling the inner door release handle to its full extent, as mentioned for other fixes, and for now at least the door is behaving again. Dr. Ian Malcolm:

Transgenic tomato anyone?
