OK, this might be a really stupid question, but.....
While perusing the specs for my new XS, it says that the convenience pack (which is standard) includes a 3rd cupholder for row one. Now there are two very obvious cupholders in the centre, so where is the third one? It may well be that I haven't found it yet. After all, I only spotted the little drawer beneath the climate control this evening

You're right, there isn't! I've poked and prodded anything that could possibly hold a cup holder, and no joy.
Anyone?

My quest for the missing cup holder continues.
I've taken a look at my downloaded user manual, and it doesn't show a 3rd cup holder in the first row. If LR have changed the specs, fair enough, but it's still being advertised on their website.
OK, it's hardly a deal breaker, but I'm bored this evening and want to know where my extra cup holder is!

Yes, they are in the D3, but honestly they're not in the D4!

D4 is just a D3 rip off, so what did you guys expect?
If I was giving the choice between a D4 without and a D3 with third cup holder I would choose the D3 any day.

Are LR possibly referring to the the pop out cup holder at the bottom of the centre cubby (which is actually 2 cupholders but one unit) which may be an addition to the ones in the door for those models with conveinience packs fitted?
Could any non-conveinience pack GS owners comment?
Just a guess....
Oops, being a bit dim, row 1 right, front row, i.e. driver and passenger row
Maybe the GS only have 1 in the centre rather than 2?

No, it says 3rd cupholder, therefore it's in addition to the two in the middle.
I have a feeling this will run and run!

I've got a pretty standard 2.7L D4 with only rear air optioned, and I think the 3rd cup holder is in the bottom of the front passenger doors. There's storage, and a mold for a cup or bottle. Not sure if this is the one you are talking about?

OK.
This is really bugging me now also.
So.
I swallow any shred of pride and self respect I may have and put a call in to land rover customer services.
I have little chat to a rather bemused but very nice lady, who finds the description of the conveieince pack on the website and puts me on hold...
...
...
...
the suspense slowly mounts...
...
...
The breath bates with excited expectation...
...
...
"I'm sorry sir, all the mechanical team have gone home already today, it is Friday. The best thing you can do is pop in to your dealer and they will investigate it for you".
So, is that true or is this the beginnings of a cover up and conspiracy or maybe just no-one at Land Rover knows where the elusive 3rd row one cup holder is either....?
Someone else's turn to themselves and go and ask their dealer
Do let me know what they tell you

Haha, I love what I've started here!
I'm actually in my dealership tomorrow for them to look at one of my windows not closing on the one-touch, so I'll see if they can work it out. Bet they can't!
