Gorgous colour, and really wanted one at the time cos my old TD5 was Alveston Red. I was led to beleive they were early models and used by LR on demos/display teams and LR Experience

not mine, but here's one...
Peter, are you drunk? No, I'm just exhaused cos I've been up all night drinking...
There was one in a backstreet dealer in Glasgow a little while ago when I was looking to buy. I thought it just didn't look right in red - maybe it was that PostmanPat connection then? Was much too dear anyway and leather was damaged and marked. Shame. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Yup mine is Alveston. it's a 2005 HSE, and used to be a Landrover car.
I'm with you though - great colour, but I may be biased!

Alverstone is much Deeper Red Paul, like a Burgundy. Rimini is more metalic to me.

Like I said, I was TOLD by a dealer that was searching for me when I 1st wanted a D3 that the Alveston Red D3's were Landrover Owned. I guess some were released to the public. Have a look, this is where the Alvestone ones started life, I thought

These are the only Alvestone ones, made as 2004 and 2005, before the paint process was changed from Solvent based paints to Water based paints.
Totally jealous though
