UK D4 SE
Is this vehicle which I spotted in London actually a UK D4 SE ? I thought that there was no such thing as a D4 SE in the UK.

Gotta be export or ROW spec whatever they call it, especially in London. If it were not 59 reg I would have said a play on badging.
However, likely to be 2.7 TDV6, note 'very' old type bumpers and no PDC, SE spec for some countries has less standard and more that you have to buy on the options if you want it than us.
The front view would have been more revealing I thinkCaptain Nick Medhurst would ask:

To solve it ...just visit the factory where you will see ROW D4 SE's with non-colour coded arches and bumpers being made 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The D4 S in Spain is available with the 2.7 TDV6 (well it isn't anymore, but LR don't seem to realise that yet ) and comes with unpainted wheel arches etc as per the photo.
The D4 SE is/was also available with the 2.7 but is fully colour-coded the same as the HSE.
Obviously this isn't ROW spec, but hey-ho.
Saying that DG - from this angle, it could simply be a late D3 with D4 lamps, handle and a new badge....see.....our D3's aren't that dated after all 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Sorry DG - I meant that what I was babbling on about wasn't ROW spec (i.e. the Spanish S/SE thing), not what you were babbling on about
I didn't realise that there was more than one ROW - surely that defeats the object of banding them all together?
So wouldn't that make it NROW spec (nearly Rest of World)? 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

It is quite surprising ...but at the factory our guide spent time explaining the various differences in models on the line at the time. ROW features seem to have subtle variances dependent on continent. We even saw HSE's with old style bumpers on
I'm only working on that strong possibility in this case....but I guess it could just be that they have been changed by the owner for whatever reason. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
