Hi
before any one tells me you can not get a missfire on a desel, this is the only way i can describe the problem.
when driving on flat road at a constant speed, for some reason the engine starts to missfire, if i pull over and stop, the missfire is still prominant even at idle, to clear the problem, i have to turn off the engine and restart and a few minutes.
has any one encountered sucha a problem? Cheers

had the same problem with my last D4 but it wasnt regular and i couldnt get to do when i needed to show some one it , dealer suggested it was because the DPF was in burn off phase not sure but it always retuned to normal.

just had the same issue again, but with a BIG red triangle saying reduced performace, and the car would not accellerate very quickly, managed to get it to the dealer though, so they should be able to read the fault codes and resolve. Cheers
