I have also been using my d3 se on some of the trails up here in the NE that I have previously ridden on my 400 exc. Will post my pictures soon. So much for risking damaging it greenlaning I got my rear NS door stoved in within 6 miles of collecting the car from the dealers!!!

BN That's the easy bit. Behind the vehicle is a little stream that's 3ft deep in the winter. In deep rut after deep rut.

30CSID Is it an 05 400 or earlier? My first KTM was an 02(I think) with clear tank the year before they changed them. Best KTM I had, really got on with it well until I had a little accident. Dislocated collar bone, dislocated arm and seperated shoulder. Smarted a bit for a month or two. Had to sell it as my arm was useless for six months. Bought myself a 450EXC when 'I' decided I was better. It took another six months to get the arm working again so I fell off it a fair few times. This tainted my opinion of it a little along with the lack of snap compared to the 400. The shorter stroke on the 400 makes a big difference to pick up. As 400's were not available I moved up to the 525. Great for trail riding but murder for an unfit person like myself on an Enduro or Hare and Hounds, especially in the woods. On my fourth 525 but thinking of going to the 400 or maybe even a 2 Smoke when the 06 come out.
