can someone tell me what is covered by the Approved Used multi point check.
reason I ask is I have found so many issues int the first month of ownership. i am convinced they never did it.
Thanks

30 days 1k miles swop. Give it back fast if its a lemon.
I think Stevie Wonder may be over qualified to work at Stratstones.
I have had it more than a month now, don't really want to swap as its exactly the spec I wanted. Its just a pain in the getting all the niggles fixed. At least, if all the major stuff goes wrong in the warranty period, I won't have to fork out for it over the next few years.

my experience with the select warranty is as far as the dealers are concerned it is equivalent of toilet paper. The dealers WILL lie, twist, be awkward, misinform when you try to get things done so be prepared. In my experience any fault brought to their attention was follows by 'that's not covered' and will cost you. Probably the limit of their 1 day customer service training course.
Unfortunately you have to treat them like retards and be completely stubborn, raise your voice in the service area, stamp feet etc etc to get things done. After one of there more blatant lies the service manager made I had to resort to picking up their phone on the service desk and calling LR who confirmed they were liars and trying to scam money from me by charging for warranty work.
Thank god my audi dealer is are nothing like them.
Thanks. rest assured I am reknowned for getting what is rightfully mine and will keep fighting until I get it. I am no stranger to the small claims courts. I have already managed to get them to supply and fit the detachable tow bar that the sales sheet said it had but when I got it, it was missing. They said they had deleted the spec from the system, but I retrieved it from my recycle bin and sent it to them along with photos showing that it was obviously fitted at some point (they probably flogged it on ebay).
I am not paying for any of the issues i raised as most were there when I bought it, so not even warranty issues, should have been done prior to sale.

Just depends on how helpful the dealer wants to be.
We had something similar recently but the dealer (Stafford LR) did not quibble at all and sorted everything out.
No cgarges for anything yesterday, in fact after calling me to tell me they would collect the car soon after 9, I finally got a call at 6.30 saying they werent coming and they didn't know why. I had called and called all afternoon but just kept gettign put back through to reception who promised someone would call and then didn't.
I don't think i have ever expereienced such bad service in my entire 20 odd years of car ownership. Every interaction I have had with this company has been a hassle and just goes on and on.
They are coming today hopefully!
