Key fob presses to disarm!

Morning all,

Just been out to get something out of D3, pressed fob button once indicators lit showing disarm, and i heard the central locking go, went to drivers door-still locked, pressed fob button a second time, same sequence but this time open! strange not noticed this before, anyone else?

I have since locked it and tried unlocking again-same ie it now needs 2 presses to open! Really odd.

When i get home later i'll try again, and maybe drive it and then try again to see what happens!

Wonder if its a power issue, although D3 has solar panel for trickle charging as it doesn't get used much in the week, but then indicators flash bright and the central locking release noise/clunk sounded strong!!!

Oh well off to work, something for my little brainbox to think about ALL day!!Oh i love my D3 Mr. Green

Tried re-programing the key through the options route (single press / double press) to unlock drivers or all?

I would take Adam's advice and try using the options setting to set it to single click unlock all doors and see it that works - if it does you can then try setting it back to single click drivers door only and see it behaves itself afterwards.

My drivers door latch failed recently, when it first started the sysmptons were identical to yours - would only unlock on second press of the alarm fob. Eventually the lock failed altogether via the remote and could only be locked from inside the vehicle - although alarm fob would still open it on the second press. Problem was solved by a new drivers door latch being fitted.
