Bastids - keyed!!

Just washed the car and noticed a nice key mark down the OS doors - Censored bastids!! No idea when it was done as been dirty for weeks. That'll teach me to take the muck off... hey ho!

It's not deep (cant feel it really) so any advice on getting it sorted please? Bodyshop obviously or do some of these "chip fix" places sort it? Or might a good T-cut bring it out.

Cheers

Jonny

Try a decent polish first - I used Autoglym Resin, if that doesnt work, try Autoglyme colour restorer
Somebody who knows tons more than me will be along in a minute though Thumbs Up

If you cant feel it with your nail you should be ok.
Autoglym colour restorer is pretty fierce stuff.

If there is a member local to you with a machine polisher it should come out well.

Bit far from me I am afraid

Chips away will come and sort it on your drive.

Used them on my old D3 to remove some seriously deep bramble rash and they did a top job.

After nearly 5 scratch-free years, my D3 was dinged in the car park at the Game Fair in Perth on Sunday. Torn the lacquer off.

Errant door-openers are the same level of scumminess as door-keyers.
