Retro fitting Sunroof????
Would it be possible to retro fit a sunroof to a D3? Doing a deal on a D3 and it hasn't got a sunroof found of a sunroof...
Has anyone ever done it?

Eric, I looked into this and went to a place who fits Webasto electric glass roofs that lift up and slide on the outside of the roof, problem is that there is not enough room between the overhead light console box thingy and the other box thingy (Alarm sensor ?) and when you take the size of the retro- roof suround, the area of glass (front to back) is very small. The guy told me to save my money... so I did ChrisOn a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

thing is I do love a sunroof in a Car/Jeep. noting better on a nice day to open it up...
What about buying a sunroof from a breakers yard and fitting it yourself??? if I got all the trims etc??

Sure there was someone on here a couple of years ago that fitted one by taking the whole top off and replacing it with one with a panoramic roof. Not impossible, but a big job.No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!
