Bike Carriers

Hi there.

Please can anyone recommend a 3 - bike carrier for a swan-neck QR tow hitch on a 2006 D3?

Cheers

CH

Thule Euroclassic range. I think, like the Altera it can fold cleverly out of the way of the boot opening - you'll laugh at the poor idiots who bought one which hangs off the back at the side of the road removing their bikes to get in the boot for the passports (and I saw one like that where they hit a bump and the bike flew off the back and got run over by a truck. Rolling with laughter

And the fact that LR don't rate the upper tailgate to support bikes at all. I had a euroclassic after doing a group. Uy some time ago on here. Saving was a good one Mr. Green

another vote for the Atera Strada DL - I've been using it for a couple of years. Reliable, secure and you can open the tailgate Laughing

I have a Mottez 4 bike carrier - only had it about 2 months but well pleased with it - the bikes are very secure, and it too folds down to gain access to the boot, and the good thing is it costs probably half what the other racks cost - so well worth the money too. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I have the Thule 3 bike one and it also folds down for access to tail gate. It's in Halfords for just over 100,i can recomend it then again if you can get the Mottez 4 bike one for £50 (excellent price) Shocked
