This is a BIG shout of praise to Tim Sanderson of Traxide. I was almost definately buying a IBS Duel Battrey system from a supplier in Surrey, but with extras the bill was getting higher and higher, nearly £300 higher
So after SGH's mention, I contacted Traxide myself in Australia...and now purchased my new SC40 kit, designed just for the D3/RRS.

SO with this kit, and my Yellow top Optima from mzplcg its cheaper than just the IBS kit.
Tim, if ever you read this forum, you're a star.. Thank you

Tim does read the forum aka drivesafe
And I think we all told you to go the Traxide route
As you say - Great bit of kit...backed up by someone who is helpful and knows his stuff The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

Did'nt know Tim is DRIVESAFE, and yes Tim was accurate and on the ball. Top guy and highly recomended if anybody is looking down the Duel Battrey route.
I did'nt need the D3 second battrey fixing kit, Tim said no problem and adjusted the kit price , customer service is 110%
Remembered other members advice on the Traxide in the past, but the blinkered MacLeod took that onboard and put it to one side as was undecided on the whole issue, but once you seriously look into it, Traxide WILL win
your decision
cheers guys

Just to back up support for Tim, I ordered a kit which was posted Monday this week from a remote corner of Oz, thought oh well I will sort that out next month when it comes.
Friday morning 7am it was delivered, Friday evening it is fitted and working, including running the cable to the boot and installing the sockets. It dosent get any better than that.
Thinks Tim great service and fab communications.

Ordered last Saturday, arrived Yesterday....................from Australia
Service 2nd to none, and a service level most companys in the UK could do with....Getting the Yellow Top Optima at some point next week, so will fit then.
Traxide Highly recommended

What sort of price are these kits?
Could build this up in pieces but this would save a lot of hassle!

Delivered in a few days £135 approx. They do cheaper kits and componants if you wanna do it in stages, mine is just D3/RRS specific, the cables are cut to size and instructions are fool proof
